SINCE ITS FOUNDING IN 1943
One day in Borås, in 1943, Gustav Segerqvist decided to stop working as a carpenter. He bought a bicycle and a suitcase and set out to the villages around Borås on his bicycle to sell clothes. After a few years Gustav had cycled to most of the villages in the parish and things had gone so well that the suitcase was updated to an office and our first own seamstresses were hired. Seger's Fabriker was born.
A COMPANY FOR THREE GENERATIONS
Gustav started Segers in 1943 and ran the company until 1976 when his daughter Mona took over the helm. Since 1985, Mona's son Roger has owned and operated the company.
After the event, we all have a lot to thank Gustav for when he hung up his boots and laid the foundation for the fine, strong brand Segers is today.
