Thanks to an innovative method, the cocoon coat is made of a soft fabric and has a natural stretch. Of course, the coat comes with a pant that is just as smooth to move in. Why is it important to get a stretch effect?
Sustainable clothing with stretch is something that our customers demand. With that, there are some challenges with stretch fabrics. One, stretch materials often stick away in price. And two, they lose their elasticity. Which are two reasons that make us want to continue working in the fabric we are already working with. And instead change the method we construct patterns.
How would you like to describe the project?
It has been a fantastic project that has contributed positive energy. It is of course exciting to be part of a project where clothes are created in an innovative way – no one has seen anything like this before. The goal of the project was to develop a chef's coat with stretch properties without having to change the fabric. We have succeeded in this – we can only be satisfied.
